  • Research/Academic Fellowship (RCUK) In Theoretical Particle Physics (Glasgow)

    The post, supported by research Councils UK, is to pursue a world class research programme in theoretical particle physics; to teach physics and possibly astronomy at all undergraduate levels and postgraduate level theoretical particle physics and to carry out allocated administrative tasks. The teaching and administrative workload will be built up progressively over the five year period of the fellowship, allowing time to develop as a research leader. We seek a scientist with a strong research record in one of the following areas : quantum field theory, strings and branes, collider physics at LHC and ILC, Higgs, supersymmetry, extra dimensions, or other particle physics beyond the Standard Model.
