SUPA Advanced Fellowship in ASTRO-BIOLOGY/EXO-PLANETS (Edinburgh)

Applications are invited for an Advanced Fellowship funded through the Scottish Universities Physics Alliance (SUPA) to be held at the Institute for Astronomy (IfA). The IfA undertakes a broad research programme in cosmology, AGN, star formation, low mass stars, and wide field astronomy, and is co-located with the UK Astronomy Technology Centre at the Royal Observatory Edinburgh. See http://www.roe.ac.uk. We seek an experienced, high-calibre research astronomer who can contribute to the developing field of Astro-biology. The theme of Astro-biology is a key collaborative initiative within SUPA, involving the University of Edinburgh and the University of St. Andrews, and it is hoped that the successful applicant will play an important role in the successful development of this joint venture.
