Lectureship/Readership at the Photonics-Life-Sciences Interface (St Andrews)

The Scottish Universities Physics Alliance (SUPA) has a Lecturer/Reader position and a SUPA 4 year Advanced Fellowship (SAF) position in the area of Photonics in the School of Physics and Astronomy. SUPA is a new trans-institutional alliance aimed at creating a common strategy for physics across Scotland (www.supa.ac.uk). We seek two outstanding individuals who would be able to use photonics as an enabling tool for research in the life sciences. Applications are encouraged from outstanding individuals including those from biology/medical/chemistry backgrounds who have a strong understanding of the underlying physics. For both posts, you will have a strong research track record and develop an internationally recognised research activity in Scotland.
