Lectureship/Readership in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics (St Andrews)

Our current activities include the study of correlated electrons in solids, notably the study of quantum criticality and novel quantum ordered phase formation. We seek outstanding candidates who will build an original and independent research profile which will both link with and complement that of the Quantum Ordering Under Extreme Conditions initiative of the Scottish Universities Physics Alliance. A second key feature of the position is a commitment to excellence and innovation in physics teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
