Postdoctoral Research Fellows (3 posts): Soft Condensed Matter, Biological and Statistical Physics

Several postdoctoral positions are available to work within the Soft Matter, Biological and Statistical Physics Group in the School of Physics and Astronomy (part of the Scottish Universities Physics Alliance, SUPA).

You will undertake experimental, theoretical or computational work within one or more of the following broad areas: Rheological Physics; Rare Event Physics in Soft Matter and Biology; New Soft Materials; Physics of Cellular Motion; Nonequilibrium Statistical Mechanics.

The breadth of our Programme offers strong opportunities for you to pursue collaborative and interdisciplinary work.

We expect to fill up to three posts in 2009.

Fixed Term: not beyond 30 September 2011

Salary Scale: £29,704 - £35,469
