Readership/Lectureship

We seek a scientist with a strong research record in one or more of the following areas: quantum field theory, strings and branes, collider physics at LHC and ILC, Higgs, supersymmetry, extra dimensions, or other particle physics beyond the Standard Model. A commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching is essential, and there will be an opportunity to teach within the new SUPA Graduate School. An exceptional candidate may be appointed at Readership level. The University of Edinburgh is a member of SUPA (http://www.supa.ac.uk), a new trans-institutional alliance that creates a common strategy for physics research across Scotland. A joint theme in Particle Physics is being carried forward with our colleagues in Glasgow.
