The School of Natural and Computing Sciences is one of three Schools within the College of Physical Sciences. The School covers the disciplines of Physics, Chemistry, Computing Sciences, and Mathematics.
Applications are invited from Physicists with a PhD or equivalent qualification in the area of nonlinear dynamical systems to underpin the multi- and interdisciplinary research effort in Physics and Life Sciences at the School. Expertise in the theory of dynamical systems, classical chaotic dynamics, complex and neural networks, modelling of chaotic and complex systems from recurrence time series, synchronization, theory of information applied to dynamical systems, protein folding in statistical mechanics, data analysis of experimental nonlinear and complex systems are particularly desirable to enable active collaboration with other staff appointed recently and working on physics and life sciences.
